There is something special about vintage china. Every piece has lived a life before it reaches you, holding stories and memories from another time. I created this small business because I wanted to give these beautiful pieces a new chapter. Too often, they are forgotten in cupboards or end up in landfill, yet they were made to be used, shared and enjoyed. By buying vintage, we not only appreciate timeless craftmanship (they really don’t make china how they used to!) but we can also make gifting these items more meaningful by sharing the history of these stunning creations.
Our classic range gift box includes 2 tea trios (cups, saucers, side plates) and 2 silver plated teaspoons. To make each gift box feel complete, I include 2 tea pillows from a local manufacturer in my hometown of Chesham, Buckinghamshire. A note on craftsmanship: each piece in this collection is vintage bone china, crafted using traditional methods. You may notice tiny inclusions, specks or irregularities within the glaze - these occurred naturally during the original firing process and are part of the piece’s unique character. Far from flaws, these subtle variations and light signs of age are a reminder of the hand-finished nature of vintage china and the story each piece carries through time.
