About the china

Founded in Staffordshire in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood, Wedgwood became one of England’s most celebrated names in fine china and ceramic design.

The Sandon pattern formed part of an extensive Wedgwood tableware collection and is now discontinued, with its colourful wildflowers, butterflies and bees giving it a distinctly cheerful character.
