Produced in Staffordshire, the heart of UK pottery, New Chelsea was used by potteries referencing the famous Chelsea porcelain tradition as it was in Chelsea, London where one of the first factories in England successfully produced true porcelain - before this, fine porcelain mainly came from China or continental Europe in the 1740’s era.
